About Us

Midvaal Motor Engineering was started by Frank Pascoe in Middelburg, Mpumalanga then Eastern Transvaal South Africa in 1972. The company specialized in the remanufacturing of all sizes of internal combustion diesel and petrol engines and was a market leader in it's field.

Seeing the need Frank started a sub division for the repairing of diesel fuel injection pumps, injectors and turbochargers under the ADCO franchise. With the vision of the company to stay abreast of the latest technology, money was invested every year in the purchasing of the newest test equipment available and also the training of all staff to offer the client a one stop shop.

In 1994 Edward Pascoe joined the company and specialized in the diesel fuel injection division. With the rapid growth of this division it was necessary to move it to it's own premises. In 1998 with this move the division was also registered as a CC on its own, running under the Midvaal Group of Companies umbrella. With this Edward Pascoe Turbo Diesel cc t/a Midvaal Diesel and Turbo was created. Midvaal Diesel & Turbo became one of the market leaders in the fuel injection industry in South Africa.

In 2008 Frank sold Midvaal Motor Engineering and concentrated his efforts with Edward on further expanding Midvaal Diesel & Turbo.

During a bi-annual visit to Namibia Frank and Edward visited major players in the fuel injection sector in Namibia and established that there was a necessity for repair to the latest technology fuel injection systems as all of these units was sent to South Africa for repair. Because of their love for Namibia, they decided to sell all there companies in South Africa and move the complete Diesel fuel injection workshop to Swakopmund in Namibia.

This substantial investment will keep revenue in the country, aid in the creation of jobs and minimize the downtime associated with sending component over the border for repair.
