Midvaal Motor Engineering was founded by Frank Pascoe in Middelburg, Mpumalanga, then known as Eastern Transvaal, South Africa, in 1972. The company specialized in remanufacturing internal combustion diesel and petrol engines of all sizes and became a market leader in its field.

Recognizing a gap, Frank initiated a subdivision for repairing diesel fuel injection pumps, injectors, and turbochargers under the ADCO franchise. Committed to keeping pace with the latest technology, the company annually invested in the latest testing equipment and staff training to provide clients with comprehensive services.

In 1994, Edward Pascoe joined the firm, focusing on the diesel fuel injection division. Due to the division's rapid growth, it was relocated to its own facility. In 1998, this division was registered as a separate CC, operating under the Midvaal Group of Companies. This led to the establishment of Edward Pascoe Turbo Diesel cc, trading as Midvaal Diesel and Turbo, which quickly became a leading name in South Africa's fuel injection industry.

In 2008, Frank divested Midvaal Motor Engineering to focus on expanding Midvaal Diesel & Turbo with Edward.

During a bi-annual trip to Namibia, Frank and Edward identified a need for local repairs of advanced technology fuel injection systems, as these were typically sent to South Africa for servicing. Their fondness for Namibia prompted them to sell their South African enterprises and relocate the entire diesel fuel injection workshop to Swakopmund, Namibia.

.Since 2019, our company has undergone significant expansion by including Automotive Engineering services, providing our customers with a comprehensive one-stop solution. The establishment of Midvaal Automotive involved the registration of the business with Frank, his daughter Cheryl, and son-in-law Kobus, signifying a significant milestone in our company's growth and development.

This significant investment is intended to retain revenue within Namibia, foster job creation, and reduce the downtime linked to sending components across the border for repairs.
